Wikipedia edit-a-thon In-Person
Fact: Only 18% of the biographies on Wikipedia are of women.
It’s time to do something about this!
Join the Half the History project, TARC, Tisch Library, and WGSS in a Wikipedia edit-a-thon. After teaching you how to set up a Wikipedia account and how to edit entries, we’ll be starting to work on a list of diverse and important women whose Wiki entries are incomplete or don’t exist. Snacks will be served—plus when you register and attend, you’ll be eligible for a drawing for some rad Wikipedia swag.
Come help us in this effort toward Wikipedia equity!
