Whether you're starting your GIS project or using spatial data for research, this interactive online workshop will equip you with the tools to leverage Python and scripting to reduce your data wrangling headaches. 

This workshop will be conducted using Google Colab, but techniques learned could be used in ArcGIS Pro notebooks, QGIS, Jupyter, etc. 


What's covered in this workshop?

This workshop will cover many geoprocessing techniques that will speed up gathering and pre-processing your spatial data in python. This includes:

geocoding and reverse-geocoding
clipping and masking vectors and rasters
> batch projections
> common file formats: GeoJSON, KML, GeoParquet
> accessing data through APIs and Cloud storage
