Embase: An Introduction Online
Description: This workshop will introduce you to Embase, a biomedical literature database known for its extensive coverage of drug and pharmaceutical research. In addition to including nearly 3000 journals not covered by MEDLINE, Embase has it's own subject headings that allow for more granular searches on biomedical topics. Come learn why Embase is considered a requirement for systematic reviews and invaluable to literature intensive projects.
Instructor(s): Judy Rabinowitz is the Interlibrary Loan and Scholarly Communication Librarian at the Hirsh Health Sciences Library. She is liaison to many divisions within Tufts Medical Center and is also your go-to librarian for guidance on reusing materials under copyright, publishing, author's rights, and obtaining materials from outside the Tufts Libraries collections.
