Come learn web scraping--the process of extracting data (tables and texts of all kinds) from websites, then analyze your data with NLTK, a natural language processing toolkit for Python. Learn how to compute word frequencies, concordances, average sentence length, and more! Previous experience with Python is recommended but not required.
