Sentiment Analysis with Python In-Person
You will be guided through several methods for automatically assessing the positive or negative sentiment in a piece of text. The methods will range from simple binary classification based on a “bag-of-words” approach to more sophisticated linear regression. The workshop will use the scikit-learn Python library. The workshop will also feature a brief conceptual overview of more nuanced methods of classifying text not just as positive or negative, but into more nuanced sentiment categories.
