Introduction to NGS Bioinformatics In-Person

This course will cover some examples of using the Tufts High Performance Compute Cluster (HPC) to manipulate Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) data. Topics covered include quality control, read alignment, and variant calling and annotation. There will be a 1-hour introductory session after which students will follow online self-guided online material.

This workshop is for  any student, staff or faculty that wants to learn about Bioinformatics.

There are two prerequisites: Introduction to Linux, Introduction to Tufts HPC

Attendees will need access to the VPN and an HPC cluster account.
