From Basic Modeling to Deep Learning in PyTorch In-Person

This course will introduce students to the PyTorch deep learning software library, starting from implementing basic machine learning models and leading to implementing cutting-edge deep learning methods—all in the same highly flexible software framework.

 

PyTorch is one of a few fully featured deep learning software toolkits. We will progress through the week toward training (or partially training) more complex models, starting from logistic regression, moving toward more advanced, modern deep learning architectures. After the course, students should be able to transfer their experience toward other similar frameworks (or future versions of PyTorch).

 

Prerequisites: Students should be comfortable with Python programming and basic data science concepts.
